The bears are loosely jointed and can be added as a toy for one of your larger bears (or even a doll), or posed to just sit in the middle of your hug or with your antiques. Old Attic Treasures feel a lot like the old stuffed toys that were made from oil cloth many, many years ago.
This one has a gathered denim fabric color and a nose that is hand-embroidered with a navy blue Perle cotton thread. The eyes are black glass. Old Attic Treasures are about 8-1/2" tall. They have been created by applying several layers of different shades of acrylic paint over a fabric base and allowing the paint to "crackle" and "age."

Old Attic Treasure bears are reminiscent of the early toys our grandparents may have found up in the attic while looking for something to play with on a rainy day. They are simply attired, often with just a collar or a vintage ribbon.
This particular bear wears only a gathered scalloped collar made from a cranberry and cream checkered cotton fabric. The nose is hand-embroidered using a matching cranberry-colored Perle cotton thread. Black glass eyes.
Each Attic Treasure will be a little different because they are individually hand-painted. They come in a variety of colors. These two are currently available for adoption.
