 Halsey has brown suede paw pads, amber German glass eyes and a hand-stitched brown Perle cotton nose. He is fully jointed and stuffed with a LOT of polyester fiberfill.  Halsey wears a young boy's antique three-piece sailor suit. The pants have decorative buttons at the bottom of the legs. The shirt has an inset dickey with an embroidered eagle, and a cotton bow in front. The shirt buttons down the front but the buttons are hidden on the inside so they can't be seen. He is also wearing a pair of antique black hightop shoes complete with all the shoebuttons. I added a WWII U.S. Navy pancake-style hat to complete his outfit. |
This handsome bear is quite a handful! Maybe even two handfuls! He was named after a very famous WWII U.S. Navy Fleet Admiral, William Halsey, Jr. Halsey is 30" tall and has been created from a recycled full length autumn haze mink fur coat.
"Halsey" comes on a stand so he can be easily displayed. He has a sewn-in tag and a laminated hang tag.
