About the Artist: Please visit all the Heir Bears who came to this special event just to meet you! I am Jane Woodard and I have been creating primarily real fur bears, using recycled furs, since 1999. My fur bears are heirloom quality, fully lined with a cotton fabric to stabilize and reinforce the fur. They are created to ensure you can pass them on to your children and grandchildren. I have been featured in articles in Teddy Bear Review (including on the cover) and Teddy Bear and Friends magazines. And I am a 2014 winner of the highly coveted URSA Award for two of my bears!

"FLETCHER"

"Fletcher" is a One-of-a-Kind 21" bear created from a soft recycled raccoon fur coat. His fur is brown with natural silvery highlights throughout. He is fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He has dark brown suede paw pads, imported dark glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose.

"Fletcher" wears a vintage child's white cotton sailor shirt trimmed with navy blue stripes on the sleeves. The sailor collar is navy blue trimmed with white stripes. There is a vintage red, white and blue pin on the front of the shirt.

Who doesn't love seeing a bear in uniform?

"CHARLIE"

"Charlie" is an 18" bear created from a recycled Tanuki raccoon fur coat. This fur is natural gold and honey colored. He is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He has light gold suede paw pads, imported green-tinted glass eyes with black pupils, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose.

"Charlie" wears a vintage white cotton baby's shirt and Osh Kosh blue denim bibbed overalls. He brings his dog, "Ruff," because they go everywhere together.

"Charlie" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

"SUMMER"

"Summer" is an 11" bear created from a soft recycled creamy mink fur coat. The fur has accents of pale brown shading throughout. She is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She has light brown suede paw pads, imported tinted glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered light brown Perle cotton nose.

"Summer" wears only a multi-colored curly ribbon bow around her neck because it is very hot at the beach, especially when you are a fur bear! She brings some of her treasures that she found while shelling early in the morning.

"Summer" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

"MINERVA"

"Minerva" is an 11" bear created from a curly gold mohair. She is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She has dark gold suede-like paw pads, imported green-tinted glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose.

"Minerva" pwears a black lacy ruff with a spider web design, and a black felt witch hat. She does not look too scary, so she must be one of the good witches. Her broom is in the shop for servicing but I'm sure it will be ready for her to use by Halloween!

"Minerva" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

"INDIE"

"Indie" is an 11" bear created from a recycled tan curly lamb fur jacket. This fur is wavy with some short curls that all go in different random directions. He is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He has tan suede paw pads, black glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered black Perle cotton nose.

"Indie" wears a red suede vest with a "vintage" political button to fasten it in front. He also wears an old-fashioned handmade cotton fabric newspaper print triangle hat. He is a registered "Independent" and can't wait to get to the ballot box to vote for his favorite candidate. I have NO idea who that is going to be!

"Indie" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

"HIPPITY the BUNNY"

"Hippity" is a 12" lop-eared bunny created from a recycled autumn haze mink fur coat. She is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She has cream suede paw pads, imported light brown glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose. Her inner ears and bunny tail are creamy white mink fur. If you look closely, you'll see a few long horsehair whiskers.

"Hippity" wears multi-colored curly ribbon bows around her ears and a bow around her neck. She recently found a carrot to munch on at snack time and she will bring that with her.

"Hippity" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

It is safe and easy; you may use your favorite debit or credit card on this secure site.

Shipping: I will ship as soon as possible after funds are received. U.S. Priority Mail is my preferred method, although UPS Ground Service may be used for large shipments if this is more economical. If I have over-estimated your shipping charges, a refund will be given through Paypal.

Returns & Refunds: Returns must be made within three days using the same manner of shipping, including insurance. Bear must be returned in same condition. A full refund of the bear's purchase price will be given. You are responsible for the shipping fees and any customs fees. Please contact me before shipping.
