About the Artist: Please visit all the Heir Bears who came to this special event just to meet you! I am Jane Woodard and I have been creating real fur bears and other critters, using recycled furs, since 1999. My fur bears are heirloom quality, fully lined with a cotton fabric to stabilize and reinforce the fur. They are created to ensure you can pass them on to your children and grandchildren. You might also find a few mohair and faux fur creations which have been added to the den.

I have been featured in articles in Teddy Bear Review (including on the cover) Teddy Bear and Friends and most recently Teddy Bear Times magazines. I was also a winner of a highly coveted URSA Award for 2016.

"SCARLETT"

"Scarlett" is an 11" tall red super-soft sheared beaver fur bear, fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She has matching red suede-like paw pads, imported black glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered red Perle cotton nose.

"Scarlett" wears a big patriotic red, white and blue ribbon tied in a bow around her neck. She is ready to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, but later in the year you can change her ribbon to suit your taste.

"Scarlett" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable hang tag.

"TUCKER"

"Tucker" is a 13" bear created from dark blue faux fur and off-white Tissavel fur. He is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He has matching blue suede paw pads, antique shoebutton eyes, and a hand-embroidered blue Perle cotton nose.

"Tucker" has slightly over-sized feet, but we won't kid him about them! He wears a wide red, white and blue ribbon tied in a bow around his neck and is ready to celebrate all the patriotic holidays.

"Tucker" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

"ROCKY"

"Rocky" is 5-way jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He stands 16" tall and was created from a raccoon fur coat.

"Rocky" has tan suede paw pads, dark glass eyes and a brown hand-embroidered Perle cotton nose. He wears an antique starched collar and stud key around his neck He is very studious and also wears vintage glasses because he reads so much.

"Rocky" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.

"TOBY"

"Toby" is a 20" soft Australian opossum fur bear, fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He has tan suede paw pads, imported glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose.

"Toby" wears Osh Kosh denim overalls and a red print handkerchief tied around his neck. He is 5-way jointed and comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable hang tag.

"MARTI"

"Marti" is an 11" tall soft light brown stone marten fur bear, fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She has matching light brown suede paw pads, imported black glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose.

"Marti" wears a multi-colored curly ribbon tied in a bow around her neck.

"Marti" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable hang tag.

"ROSIE"

"Rosie" is an 11" (sitting) elephant created from a recycled gray sculpted mink fur coat. She is fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She has gray faux leather foot pads and inner ears, and vintage black shoebutton eyes.

"Rosie" wears only a gathered purple ruff around her neck. She loves peanuts and has been eating them all day, so there are only a few left.

"Rosie" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable hang tag.

"MILO"

"Milo" is a 15" brown fox fur bear, fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. This fur has a mind of its own and is made up of many small pieces that go every which way! He has matching brown suede paw pads, imported glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered dark brown Perle cotton nose.

"Milo" wears a green and brown multi-textured ribbon ruff around his neck. He is 5-way jointed and comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable hang tag.

"LENNY the LION"

"Lenny" is a 13" lion created from a recycled mink fur coat, and coyote fur for the mane and tail tip. He is is fully jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill.

"Lenny" has matching light brown suede paw pads, imported light amber glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose. If you look closely, you can even see a few of his horsehair whiskers.

"Lenny" comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag.
