About the Artist:  I am Jane Woodard and I have been creating real fur bears, using recycled furs, since 1999.  My fur bears are heirloom quality, fully lined with a cotton fabric to stabilize and reinforce the fur.  They are created to ensure you can pass them on to your children and grandchildren.  I have been featured in articles in both Teddy Bear Review (including on the cover) and Teddy Bear and Friends magazines.

"ANNIE"

"Annie" is a lop-eared bunny who fits right in with all the bears she lives with.  And of course, it IS all about the ears with this bunny!!

"Annie" is approximately 12" tall and was created from a light creamy mink jacket.  Her long ears are curly red Tibetan lamb fur on the outside and creamy mink fur on the inside.  Her bunny tail is red rabbit fur.  "Annie" has light beige suede foot pads, olive green glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered beige Perle cotton nose.  She is fully jointed and stuffed with polyester fiberfill.

"Annie" wears a variegated curly ribbon tied in a bow around her neck, and curly ribbon bows in her ears.  She comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable hang tag.  "Annie" recently won 3rd place in the Bunny Challenge at the teddy bear show in Tampa, FL.  The participating artists each created a bunny using the same pattern, demonstrating it truly is the artist's talent and creativity that makes a critter come to life.
